I do not know if a grey ink can be used in silk screen printing but I like this mockup. I have not been able to find two colours that I like together so it may have to be light blue for background with darker blue for midtones.
How many colours do you need (or are allowed!) for the separation, and what colour paper will you be printing on? This is an interesting exercise, and I've been playing around with different ways of making digital separations - none very satisfactory so far. I like this rendition very much, and suspect it would look equally good with a warm colour palette too.
