For our final evening in Suffolk on Saturday, we visited Gunton beach for the sunset. I was using my Fuji compact (1,2) and Olympus with 12-42 lens (3,4,5) plus I borrowed Barry's full-spectrum infrared camera(6,7,8,9) . Late in the evening, the full spectrum camera gave very similar colouring to normal cameras with their infrared etc blocking filters but allowed faster shutterspeeds. Not sure which member of the party was being beamed up in image 9 but we seemed to have our full complement at Breakfast on Sunday (though we couldn't confirm that Ian, who was in self-catering accommodation, was safe).

Early Morning Colwell Bay
There was an impressive mackeral sky early Friday morning forerunning the later gales. I tried some panoramas including a 19-image 360 degree one to try and give a feel of the dominance of that sky. I also converted this in Photoshop to a Tiny Planet

Storm on Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight
Friday was very windy with gusts up to 50mph and near horizontal rain - not pleasant for being out but well worth time spent in a shelter on Freshwater Bay photographing the spray and waves. These were taken with shutterspeeds from1/3200th to 1/8th second, all handheld, some with deliberate camera movement added.

Burnham-on -Sea
A few images from a visit to Burnham-on-Sea on my way to Bristol on a very sombre overcast day. Burnham-on-Sea is part of the second longest beach in Europe with the iconic low lighthouse, the remaining active lighthouse of three Burnham lighthouses Whilst Burnham has one of the longest expanses of sand, it has the shortest pier in Britain.
