Toft Full-Spectrum Images from Misty Frosty Day

Taken on 30th November - one of the very cold misty mornings with the Full-Spectrum camera. Mostly very muted colours but, in the denser part of the wood, the autumn colours recorded well saturated presumably as infrared was somewhat filtered out by the canopy. Ted was a bit bewildered by the very cold conditions and is about to zoom off round in circles,

Thick Mist This Morning

I hoped for some interesting light through the mist this morning but it stayed very thick until the sun was too high. Ted enjoyed his walk however.

Local Walks

We have had some lovely sunny days this week though getting progressively colder. I took a walk  up to Hardwick Wood and was surprised to find quite a few toadstools still apparent. This evening a lovely sunset though Ted was impatient to move on.

Shadows, Cycles and People in Cambridge

Very contrasty light this morning for my walk from the Park and Ride to the City centre. The low sun gave long shadows and bright rim lighting.

CCC King's Cross Outing 2. People

One of the challenges for me on Saturday was to take some images of people. There are so many contrasts of style of dress, professions and interests in this cosmopolitan area. My favourite is the third image with its four separate cameos. I tried being a bit more creative in photoshop separating the elements and recombing - not sure it works!!

Frosty Morning Dog Walk

Here is Ted, yesterday on our very frosty morning walk, lit by the rising sun. One of the local Red Kites was catching the first warming rays of sunlight before flying off to survey for food.
