Hunstanton Cliffs, Beach and Fulmars

We were very lucky to have a beautiful sunset for the end of our RPS day in Hunstanton. I spent a time photographing the Fulmars as they flew in and out from the cliff - their straight wing flight reveals their close relationship to albatrosses. Later views of the cliffs and wonderful rock shapes and colours took over. Even found someone with a Field Camera on the beach.

Rockscape Portfolio

I always enjoy taking and preparing images for the CCC Print portfolio competition where we have to present 5 images arranged in a panel. This year, as almost always, I struggled to get the fifth image. On the night, I am told the judge actually thought a different one didn't fit too well. One and two are my favourites  and set me on the quest for another three!

Green and Beautiful Surroundings

Yesterday afternoon I took a short stroll along aour road and then onto the little headland by the beach. A few images of our surroundings including Marsh orchid, Fuschias from the hedges and a variety of greens from woods and seashore.
