Polar Fair in Cambridge

Our second venue for night photography in Cambridge on Sunday was the Polar Fair - very busy generally but found a few quieter spots to record the kaleidoscope of colours and shapes. Last couple moving the camera during Live Composite mode (ie camera is taking 1sec exposure continuously - I don't think it records how many shots)

Hunstanton Sunset and Xmas Fair

I stayed 3 nights in Hunstanton over the weekend and took my camera for a walk each evening - two of them had good sunsets (usual quiz question - in what East coast seaside town can you view the sun setting over the sea?) The first one is particularly curious with a bird apparently sitting on the sun! The long exposures were all done with the Olympus live composite facility which builds up the image in 1 second exposures on top of an initial exposure. During some of these I moved the camera.

Strawberry Fair Cambridge

The overcast skies and strong northerly wind didn't deter people from attending the Annual Strawberry Fair in Cambridge , a volunteer-organised event that raises money for charities as well as giving a platform for local performers and artists. Certainly the place to go to buy and display colourful clothing and accessories. Just a shame the sun didn't shine for the event to add that sparkle to the scene. This is the owner of shoopdooplondon proud to show off his wares.
