CRUFC Win the League 59 points to 10

Cambridge Rugby Union Football Club needed to win and score at least 4 tries to come top of the League in the final match of the season. The game started very nervously with the opposition (Moseley)scoring first with a penalty but once CRUFC settled into the game the tries started appearing and the final score was 59-10 enough to win them the trophy and to have score 1002 points in the season. Certainly something to celebrate.

Paxton Pits RPS Nature Group Outing

The weather was disappointing for our trip to Paxton to find signs of spring yesterday - cold and mainly grey. However, we did manage to find a few insects including my first damselfly of the year.

Harwick Wood Spring

With recent colder spell, there is a great variety of Spring flowers in and around Hardwick Wood at the moment with the Garlic and Bluebells just coming out but Oxlips and Wood Anemones still in bloom. I was accompanied in the Wood by various birds.
