Summer Cemetery

Not often the a Travelodge has a perfect walk to cool off in the evening! Dorking Cemetery is a 14-acre municipal site opened in 1855 though excavations nearby unearthed 14 skeletons dating back to the 7th century, indicating Early Medieval activity in the area. There are several areas where the vegetation hasn't been cut, full of oxeye daisies - ideal for playing with multiexposure.

Arnos Grove Cemetery

There was only time for a very quick walk around Arnos Grove Cemetery after the RPS  Assessments at Bristol yesterday but the weather was kind and the storm clouds disappeared to give clear sunshine. Infrared monochrome images. At some point Andrew came into view giving scale to the impressive buildings.

Madingley War Cemetery 1. Into the Light

The thick mist that we had in Toft this morning had dispersed when I got to the American Cemetery. Most of the photographs were taken at F16  though the first one is f2 and is my favourite one from the set with the out of focus crosses and the dominant sun..

Arnos Vale Catholic Cemetery

I am in Bristol for the RPS Distinctions Assessments and took advantage of some late sunshine to visit the Catholic Cemetery. These are multiple exposures  - not all are quite what I wanted but I do like the first few.
