Vases and Vessels

I got a bit obsessed with the various ancient pottery in the Fitzwilliam Museum and photographed several of the wonderfully inventive and elegant shapes as double exposures using the wall or floor to add texture. Here are 8 of them with a tryptic of three of the most colourful to start..

Seasonal Thoughts

As November 11th approaches, some multiexposure images some that show harmony of tones and others where opposites in terms of textures, colours etc can unite illustrating a desire for peace in the world.

Orchids

Cambridge Botanic Gardens had a great display of Orchids in the corridor of the glasshouses when we visited last week. These are in-camera composites that remind me the delight of these amazing flowers amid the light and the textures around them.

London Barbican Created and Seen

This is the final set from our visit to the Barbican Estate last week. Some composite images (1-5), an art installation comprising lots of mirrors in the stairway of the Barbican Centre and the entrance ramps with their great lighting (never enough people when you want them).
