I love these pictures Ann for they remind me of my time in Moscow when I was there as a member of an educational delegation. Do they still guard Lenin's tomb and march so slowly and so precisely with their leading leg raised almost at 90 degrees? The colourings of St Basil's come across very well. I was amazed when I discovered that it was in fact a wooden building. The GUM store has to be seen to be believed!
Lovely images Ann and they remind me of my time in Moscow. Do soldiers still keep guard over the tomb of Lenin? I will never forget their slow and precise goose stepping in Red Square as the snowflakes were swirling and the Red Star was shining above the Kremlin. All very cold warish...!!

Looks like someone ordered some snow for you - if only a small amount! Looking forward to seeing more from your travels in Russia...
