The recent rain has resulted in lots of fungal activity in our local ancient woodland with slime moulds, toadstools, crusts etc sprouting out from old trunks and branches. As it is a fairly long walk to the wood, I was carrying my Fuji X100V compact with the Raynox250 Closeup lens which is quite difficult to preview the end result so I am pleased to have a few images of fungi that I am pleased with. Autumn is definitely on its way for those who like this time of year for photography!!
