Wonderful to hear three separate Nightingales from the main walking routes at Paxton Pits this today - they are singing well so fingers crossed that there will be females to keep them there. Here four views of a very vocal nightingale.
The three Heron chicks are getting near adult size and colouring but we anticipate another week before fledging, The Grizzled Skippers and Blue Damselflies are emerging so I think we can declare Spring well underway at Paxton
