More tilting in Bath

A few more tilt pictures from Bath - again with predominant purple in many cases. I realise that I only notice what colours are in fashion through my photographs!
The man and dogs worked best in monochrome as the background colours were very bright.
Then onto the train and back to Cambridge.

Ann, It is interesting to see how well your new tilt lens works. Are you working hand-held?

Handheld. The most-challenging aspect is that it is all manual. Rather than looking through the viewfinder, in many cases I guess the distance for the object that I want in focus. The exposure is also set manually and will alter depending how much tilt or shift you have on the lens. So basically the final result is unpredictable, which is what makes it fun.

That is interesting. I had never thought of the TS lens as anything other than for fixed-point architecture and landscape

I suspect it is not as "unpredictable" as you modestly imply. No viewfinder means you have thought about what you want and, from experience, how it will/should come out. Quite a challenge and being successfully met. Well done.
