The RPS Nature group spent a very enjpyable day photographing on the beach at Hunstanton as the tide dropped and then in the afternoon started to come ie. We followed the tide line watching the waders etc feed on the mussel beds. A lot of photos to download and sort but here two - Black-tailed Godwit and Curlew, together with some night shots taken yesterday evening. More birds to follow when sorted!!

Shadows and Silhouettes Cambridge
The low bright sunlight this morning in Rose Crescent and Magdalene Street in Cambridge this morning was throwing people and bikes etc into bold silhouettes with strong shadows. Very difficult to capture in photographs but here is a flavour of the scenes.

Mini Fungi etc at Paxton
Looking on wet logs etc revealed quite a few small fungi species at Paxton today, lots of Collembolids scurrying around and one possible slime mould of a leaf stem (very very small subject!!) plus a yellow slime mould mycelium on a wet log.
