Paxton Winter Water Birds
Thursday morning was dull with showers but it brightened in the afternoon so I took my camera out to see what wildfowl are around - pleased to see Goldeneye, Shoveller and Little Grebe. It was very windy so the water was choppy.

CCC London Trip: Wide-angle Architecture
Monday morning, after the colourful sunrise, was a very grey day - not usually the best for photographing architecture but I was surprised how much colour was present in the buildings along by City Hall - no colour has been added or changed just the saturation/vibrance increased. The images in Southwark Cathedral have the complementary yellow hue from the lighting and are photomerges of 4 images in the two wider views.

Sunrise on the Thames
It was forecast to be a clear sunrise on Monday so we walked through to the Thames around 7am. These images are in order and show how the colours changed towards pink with direction of view and as the cloud built up. The exposures (for future reference!) in sequence were 20 secs, 20 secs, 6 secs, 1.3sec,1.3 sec and the rest 1 second, all at f22 using live composite mode on the Olympus EM1 II - I didn't record how many exposures each had - obviously more where there were changes in the highlights being added as with reflections or contratrails. Not sure what passed behind St Pauls and left a dotted trail (?ideas)

CCC London Trip: Thames Night Walk
A selection of images from our night walk along the Thames on Sunday evening. The first image is a panorama of two long exposures to show the span of the Millenium Bridge (this should come after image 9 in temporal sequence but is the right aspect ratio to share on Facebook). They are a mixture of long exposures (up to 15sec) on the FujiX100V and live composites from the Olympus EM1-II with base exposure of 30sec and variable number of added exposures (need more experimentation with exposure values and number of shots!!)
