A visit to Duxford Air museum yesterday to preview a new exhibition inside the museum, but also took the opportunity to look at their newest airliner acquisition, the BAE 146. Unfortunately to display this on the Herald has been sold to another Museum and is in the process of being dismantled. Hope the reassembly instructions are better than the usual flat pack ones. For the interior shots I used a wide angle lens add-on with Fuji X100V at F2, which gives distortion round the edges of the frame

Yearly Markers
Every year around March 21st, I record the flowers open in our garden to get a comparison with previous years. As everything is very advanced this year, I thought I would do one now. I will do it in a month's time to make the actual date comparisons.

Storm Franklin Winds
A very windy walk this morning - not easy to show wind pictorially other than its effects on coastal waters. First attempt - hopefully not too many more occasions to perfect it!!

(Notes for future attempts: all images processed with masking plus topaz denoise; 1, 2 as taken, 3 b/w, 4 b/w background dehaze, 5, red background with colour reversal on red/cyan; 6 as taken; 7 as taken; 8 background colour reversal on?; 9,10 as taken)

Lichen Project
A rainy day yesterday so I thought I would continue with my lichen ID and UV fluorescence project. I had collected quite a few specimens and set about taking and photostacking images. Unfortunately my UV torch requires a new battery (not one I have a spare) but here are the ones I did manage. Now to identify them!!

Spring at Chippenham Park
The display of snowdrops at Chippenham Park (Cambridgeshire) is spectacular this year together with many other spring species though the Aconites are less abundant than earlier years and are just about over.
