Misty Walk Around Toft

When setting off for our daily walk round the village, the burning question is always - shall we go Clockwise or anti-clockwise. Big decision! Today we started anticlockwise but then cut through the central meadow and did the rest of the circuit in a clockwise manner. Very foggy here all day.

Exhibition at Addenbrookes Cancelled

Inevitable with the present lockdown, the Exhibition 'Winter' has been postponed to an unknown time. I am obviously disappointed for myself after putting the effort into printing etc  but mainly for the hopeful loss of income to the Hospital.

Toft Christmas Lights 1

With 12th night upon us tomorrow, I grabbed the opportunity to take a few images of the Christmas lights around our village this evening. A second set will be a bit more creative (i.e those out of focus ones or with motion blur!!)

New Year Walk at Barton

We took a walk round the fields at Barton hoping to photograph a Hare or two. We briefly saw one retreating so here a miscellany from the morning. Several very smart -looking Reed Butings. There are a couple of very strange scarecrows - the one with dolls' heads is enough to scare anyone let alone a Crow.

Focus-Stacked Mosses and Fungi

The first four images are Focus Stacks using a 50mm macro lens and the automatic focus bracketing of my Fuji camera. Depending on how deep the stack needs to be, I varied the number of images in the bracket - the first image has 76 images in the stack; the rest used 35 images. The final two two are straight shots.
