Bexhill
We visited Bexhill before returning home this morning. I was surprised to see the changes they had made since I last visited in January 2008. I must say I preferred the arches doors etc how they were then. The brown shuttering doesn't really fit well.
The De La Warr Pavilion hadn't changed and still great for wide-angle photography

Eastbourne Eventually
Very disappointed that we got so held up by traffic queues that we were unable to get to Roy King's Memorial tea in Sutton. As well as the jams, my sat. nav. decided to malfunction showing us to be a few hundred yards from our position all the time! Eventually we got to Eastbourne and enjoyed some evening light on and around the pier.

London
I went up to London today to help hang The London Salon Exhibition at the London Film Museum in Covent Garden. Beautiful skies so couldn't resist the views. There was a lot of artificial turf and various coloured sands around on the South Bank. Otherwise there is always time to read the paper.

Felbrigg and Cromer
Two interiors from Felbrigg Hall. It is good that the National Trust now allow interior photography.
Cromer in the evening just before going off to Holt to lecture. Same position, different lenses: left one with the 15mm fish-eye and right one with 24mm lens.

Blickling and Felbrigg Halls
Decided to use my National Trust card and visit two properties near Holt.Blicking had the more attractive exterior; Felbrigg is smaller and more compact.

Hunstanton Iconic Buildings
Hunstanton is due to refresh its various shops, building, Kiosks etc to improve its image but I suspect the Oasis Centre, Pier, Bandstand and Lighthouse will remain untouched.

Hunstanton
In North Norfolk to give some lectures basing myself in Hunstanton. Grey day which seemed to accentuate the solitary nature of the few figures on the beach. They obviously like their trees here as in Gorky Park Moscow. I liked the designer pink tongue of dog to go with rest of outfit.

Paxton Pits - Nightingale, Scarce Chaser and Diving Terns
Paxton Pits was alive with damselflies and dragonflies yesterday morning. A Nightingale stayed long enough in a thorn bush to capture it with food for its young. This is my first photo of a Scarce Chaser - a common dragonfly species at Paxton pits but, like the Nightingale, not common elsewhere. The Common Terns were dipping into the water picking up dragonflies . I was fascinated by their reflections as well as the poses.
