Shift lens

Taken with 24mm shift lens - f22 and 2 second exposure using manual exposure and manual focusing - back to the old days! It certainly slows down photography but is very relaxing when there is plenty of time for those snaps!!

Beautiful day at Wimpole - lying snow, ice and dark blue sky.
The lake is half frozen and the coots spent a lot of time chasing each other across the surface

Harrogate and surrounding countryside looked magical today in the snow. Lots of snow ploughs and gritters have been at work and the roads so far are clear.

Clacton Evening VIew of Pier

Not a very sharp image as handheld at 1/15th but gives the feeling of a cold evening on the promenade - thank you to Clacton Camera Club for a subsequent warm welcome.

Muntjac

Looking out of my window, thinking about going out and doing a bit of weeding, when a muntjac came through the hedge. It stayed for about half an hour trimming down weeds (and more precious plants) very effectively.

Sculpture of two dolphins by French ice sculptors.
Unfortunately the festival coincided with the start of the warmer weather, so the sculptures gradually melted during the day.

Walking in local wood, found these moss-covered roots - photographed using 15 mm fisheye they look very alien.
