Muntjac

Looking out of my window, thinking about going out and doing a bit of weeding, when a muntjac came through the hedge. It stayed for about half an hour trimming down weeds (and more precious plants) very effectively.

Ice Sculpture Festival at Natural History Museum London

Unfortunately the festival coincided with the start of the warmer weather, so the sculptures gradually melted during the day.

The lake is just about frozen over at wimpole with a light dusting of snow on the ice.

Walking in local wood, found these moss-covered roots - photographed using 15 mm fisheye they look very alien.
