As soon as we left Oslo the cloud thinned and we had wonderful views of the Fjords and mountains below on the way to Bodo. It was cloudier from Bodo to Leknes but some great water colours as we approached the Lofoten Islands.

Made it to Oslo and Onwards Despite the Snow
Phil kindly paid for a room for the night at the very close Park Inn at the airport so a few images to show the very interesting decor and the huge amount of snow that had built up on the covered access pathway. The snow ploughs were out in large numbers and our flight was only slightly delayed while the wings were stripped of the 3 - 4inches of snow by the very impressive deicing machines. Finally to show the difference a few minutes make as we flew above the snow clouds.

E-luminate 2018 Cambridge
Compared with previous years, the illuminations in Cambridge this year were disappointing with few buildings lit up. However, the reflected lights on the wet pavements and the umbrellas made it an interesting photographic evening. Acouple of just evening shots at the end
