A beautiful morning to explore some of the south coast rocky shoreline. Though not good light photographically, managed to pick out some details with interesting shapes and colours and overall views of the wonderful cliffs. The first four images are from a walk along the headland at Le Goffre, followed by images from Saints Harbour

St Peter Port Guernsey
St Peter Port hosted a food festival at the weekend with stalls selling various wares including locally made Gin. Here is Luke Wheadon with a traditional still for distillation. They are going to market a selection of different 'flavours'. Otherwise images from the streets and church on a fine sunny September Saturday.

Guernsey Photography Festival
St Peter Port has been host to a wide selection of contemporary photographers during September and we visited few today ending up at Trinity Square. I became fascinated with the building the exhibitions were housed in - an old garage workshop where Virginia Creeper was attempting to reclaim the site amidst the various exhibits. Here is my offering on Invasion of the Creeper - an exploration of the loss of the individual trader to the large brand garages.
Flight to Guernsey
Perfect weather for my flight to Guernsey so it was goodbye to the Isle of Wight and welcome to Guernsey all in clear skies. Lovely to see Jan and David and to have a quick view of the sunset before attending a great lecture on Insects by George McGavin

Charles Rennie Mackintosh Designed House in Northampton
78 Derngate is the only house in England designed by Charles Rennie MacKintosh. It was 100 years old when MacKintosh redesigned the interior in 1916 for his patron, the Northampton Engineer W.J.Bassett-Lowke. I liked the kitchen for its space and light feeling, which may surprise folk as I am very sensitive to green!! The sitting room was very claustrophobic though might be better when the curtains are open.
