Sheldon Square Shapes, Colours and People

Definitely a place to revisit though maybe Security will get fussier once everything is complete. UPDATE: walking through on way back from Bath on Thursday was told no photography even though I only had small camera in my hand!!

Sheldon Square Monochrome

A few monochrome images from Sheldon Square, Paddington - lots of great shapes and shadows to snap away at.

Little Venice London

Half an hour after the torrential rain at King's Cross the skies cleared to a deep blue and I had a walk along the Canal at Paddington as I had an hour to spare before the train to Bath. It is stepping into another world from the bustle and concrete of Paddington area and Sheldon Square (next post!)

Kings Cross

Very wet morning when I arrived at Kings Cross en route to Bath. The building work continues and provided some very interesting backdrops.

Raining in Cambridge

Always a dangerous thing to do, I filled in the titles of my exhibits for the Foxton Art Show before I had actually done the images but two of the five done and two more on the way so should be OK.

Fowlmere

Not much activity at Fowlmere RSPB reserve today though we did see the Kingfisher briefly at 2 hides. The Heron managed to catch a fish, drop it, recatch it and then finally swallow it.
Amazed to see a Migrant Hawker still on the wing in November.

Albert Dock Area I, Liverpool

Sunday was already quite windy before the storm came so good for infrared monochrome images.

Museum of Liverpool

We visited one of my favourite modern buildings on sunday. The Museum of Liverpool is a very impressive structure involving  2,100 tons of steel, 1,500 square metres of glazing, 5,700 square metres of natural Jura limestone, 7,500 cubic metres of concrete and 20 tons of bolts.
