Rainy Walk in London

It looked as if the rain was easing as we pulled into King's Cross, but as I left the station the heavens opened and continues to pour for the walk from King's Cross to St. Paul's. First image out of sequence but thought it would make a great 'give it a caption' image!

A Rainy Day in York

Yesterday was wet all day in York except for a short dry spell that allowed us to walk up on the Walls around the Minster to find somewhere to eat in the evening. Spent morning in Castle Museum, some time photographing umbrellas and some of the many groups of people celebrating special days in York (not sure the reason for the dressed up group here) and a respite period in the Travelodge drying out.

Cambridge on a Rainy Morning

Not many people hope for a rainy day but I was pleased  when yesterday morning proved wet as I was due to help Keith from Doncaster add to his portfolio of atmospheric Cambridge scenes. I did feel sorry for the Punting companies who were pretty idle in the morning. Thanks to Scudamores employee and the lady on King's Parade for posing for us. Amazed at the variety of food available to sit and eat on the Market now.

London to Bath in the Rain

As I arrived in London from Cambridge at the start of the rush hour, I decided to walk from Kings Cross to Paddington. It rained hard most of the way but gave some great umbrella images. It was still raining when I eventually arrived in Bath and walked to the hotel via the Abbey.
