Snetterton MG Racing Day

 Perfect weather at Snetterton not too hot or cold. 'Racing' a bit tame but good to see all the different MG and other make models on the track.

Bluewater Shopping Centre

I have a bit of a backlog of images to post so here are some from a recent trip to the Bluewater Shopping Centre when I was down south of the Thames talking at Bexleyheath Photographic Society. The images are part of a larger project on buildings and their construction materials.

Fungi Time in Cambridgeshire Woods

 Taken with compacr camera as weren't expecting so many fungi around.

Any ideas on the Caterpillar.

Bassett Hounds

 This pack of Bassett hounds enjoyed the attentions of people especially children at the Gransden Show.  Bassets are scent hounds that were originally bred for the purpose of hunting rabbits and hare.

Sawfly Larvae in the Roses

Trying to get on top of the gardening backlog, I got distracted by these Sawfly larvae in the roses and spent a while with the 100mm macro. The blue in the background is El and Matt's now ex-car as they have exchanged it for a dark grey car - not sure how it will work as photographic prop.

Infrared Images of Richmond Park

 Images taken with my infrared camera and 50 mm lens plus a fisheye adapter in some images. The latter allows close focus as in the toadstool image. The blurring at the edges is due to the fact that I am holding the adapter against the 50mm lens and sometimes not quite straight etc. I like the effect with the closer tree images.

Ham House Interior and Thames Heron

Ham House in Monochrome

A few views at Ham House converted to monochrome rather than retaining some of the colour. The images including trees are my favourites and there are a wide variety in the grounds.
