Evening light in Cambridge

A few more images from our evening walk round Cambirdge Backs with CCC Members. The Backs are a mass of Dandelion clocks at the moment and all the greens were so vibrant after the rain. Canoeists gave a splash of colour for the image but it did look hard work.

River Cam, Cambridge

A second set of misty images from a morning walk in Cambridge, There were lots of boats of various types out on the Cam. The young man in the fifth image managed to capsize and had to be helped out of the icy water. There were a couple of Boxers sparring on Jesus Green and a very close Heron (shot with a 55mm lens) - perhaps a bit disorientated in the mist.

A 'Soft' Day in Roundstone, Ireland

Definitely a 'soft' day (with drizzle interspersed with heavier rain) here in Galway yesterday (and today!). Roundstone harbour with its boats gave a perfect location for photographing in these conditions with the blues and reds showing through  the mist.

Roundstone Galway Ireland

We are staying just outside Roundstone so I took a walk into the village yesterday morning as the family had gone to Galway for the day. The weather was sunny when I left but storm clouds arrived giving wonderful lighting.
