In the afternoon on Tuesday, we transferred to Inner Farne to photograph mainly the Terns. It was still raining a bit and very dull conditions so not ideal light but I still enjoyed capturing the Arctic Tern displays as they fended off visitors too close to their nests.
You must be very brave, how wide was that lens and did you use any fill-in flash?
ReplyDelete16mm lens - would not have used flash as the birds are already disturbed enough by visitors. Apparently those nesting by the path have greater survival rate on their chicks.
